The forward cameras on Tesla and Rivian vehicles sit behind the windshield. Replacing the glass or a camera means the driver-assist system has to be calibrated and checked, or features may be limited or unavailable.

Questions before you book
Why do the cameras need calibration after a windshield replacement?
The forward cameras look through the windshield. Small changes in glass or mounting position affect what they see, so they need to be calibrated for driver-assist features to work properly.
Will insurance cover my windshield?
In Florida, a policy with comprehensive coverage generally covers windshield replacement without a deductible. Other glass may be treated differently, so check your policy.
Can you replace a cracked glass roof?
Yes. Glass roof panels can be replaced on their own.
