Tesla Optimus Service
Alset Services plans to service Tesla Optimus humanoid robots once they are available to the public. We already work on Tesla batteries, electronics, cameras and software, and we want to be ready when Optimus owners need a local shop.

What Tesla has shown so far.
Optimus is Tesla’s humanoid robot: about human size, with two legs, two hands and cameras for eyes. Here is what Tesla has said publicly.
Built from Tesla car technology
Tesla has said Optimus uses the same kind of AI as its cars: camera-based vision and neural networks from Autopilot and Full Self-Driving, running on a Tesla computer. It also borrows from Tesla’s battery and electric drive work.
From prototype to production
Tesla showed a walking prototype in 2022 (about 73 kg, 2.3 kWh battery). The Gen 2 version shown in December 2023 was about 10 kg lighter, walked about 30% faster and had Tesla-designed actuators and tactile sensing on its fingers.
What Tesla has said about timing
On its April 2026 earnings call, Tesla said it was preparing its Fremont factory to start Optimus production around late July or August 2026, with a second Optimus factory at Giga Texas expected around summer 2027, and that Optimus could be useful outside Tesla sometime in 2027. Tesla has said early units go to its own factories first.
What Tesla has said about price
Elon Musk has said he expects Optimus to cost roughly $20,000 to $30,000 once it is built at high volume. Tesla has not announced a price or opened orders.

Planned services
What an Optimus may need.
Like a car, a robot that works every day will need maintenance and repairs. These are the areas we expect to cover as Tesla makes parts and information available.
Battery and charging
Checks of the battery pack, charging and power electronics, similar to the high-voltage and BMS work we do on Teslas.
Actuators and joints
Diagnosing worn or noisy joints, actuators and hand mechanisms, and replacing them with the right parts.
Cameras and sensors
Cleaning, inspecting and replacing cameras and sensors, and making sure they are calibrated.
Software and updates
Helping with software updates and settings as Tesla makes them available to owners.
Diagnostics
Fault codes, logs and hands-on inspection to find what is wrong before anything is replaced.
Covers and wear parts
Replacing damaged covers, hands or other wear parts after daily use.

Can I bring you an Optimus today?
Not yet. Tesla has not started selling Optimus to the public. We plan to offer service once owners can buy or lease one.
Is Alset Services authorized by Tesla to service Optimus?
No. Alset Services is an independent shop and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Tesla. What we can do will depend on the parts, tools and information available to independent shops.
Why would a car shop work on a robot?
Optimus shares a lot with Tesla cars: a lithium-ion battery pack, electric actuators, cameras and Tesla software. Those are the systems we already diagnose and repair.
